gauge cluster lights

Default gauge cluster lights

all of my gauge cluster lights are off on my 96 a4, i checked all the fuses, anyone have any ideas?

could all the bulbs go out at once?

could it be the dimmer switch?

sucks driving at night, i have to guess how fast i am going.

if i can fix the problem i was thinking about just ordering indiglo gauge faces

probably the dimmer switch or a bad ground on the dash

probably the dimmer. Mine were off too and I poked around for like 10 minutes... the dimmer was set on the lowest setting. I cranked it up and it was fine.

definatly not the dimmer, im not even getting power to the fuse block for the #5 fuse wich is the cluster illumination, so.. im trying to dig up some wiring diagrams online to track it down. As far as i know if goes from battery through the relay cluster to the fuse box and so on.. so theres gotta be a problem with a relay right?
