if its done right you cant really call it rice.. i have seen alot of cars that people wouldnt normally touch that have done put out some resonalbe numbers and you wouldnt think that it was posible..

 

Im not classifying all imports as rice just the halfass crap i see on the road. I try to take pics with my phone but they never turn out right.

well neither of there cars r faster than mine, its just my boost leak heat's up slows me down and they pull on me. but when i put a fresh coat of tape on that baby they got nothing on me. there is alot of ricers out there wich i hate but there is also alot of really nice japanese cars...... my friends cars r really nice and not ricer at all.

civics/tegs/accords/sentras/ and the occasional preludes are "rice", not all jap cars

pretty much anything with a vtec

 

yea i mean every once ina blue moon ill see a nice looking civic and i dunt ever hate on the new si's their nice and quick. but 90% of the civics here in NY are "ricers" cuz they got stupid abnoxious loud exhausts, stupid body kits, and even worse designs on the car. I spanked a civic the other night high end 4th. but i know one day i will get spanked by one of those serious tuners with the 300+ hp civics

haha, i do sort of concider skylines "rice" becuse of their country of birth. i dont mean it as deragatory. and you dont have to name european cars as a food, thats just what was chosen and accepted for japanese cars. should we name em after a body part becasue lots of american cars are called muscle cars?

and i dont hate em either. i have a lot of respect for honda and what they do with their cars. and if you look at my pervious statement. rice is more classifed as those cars that come with relativley little horsepower. i dont think a skyline has relativley l/ittle horsepower unless ur comparing it to a pro stock drag car lol. but either way, to ME german cars are tuners. japanese cars are rice. americans are domestic or muscle. if u wana use import that could be for european and japanese becuase its a morew generalized term. to some other people, rice could be just the craptastic little wannabe fast japanese car.

Rice is anything from an asian country period. Doesn't matter what it is. We use ricer to mock the fact that they are from japan, some of us use ricer to descrbe F&F wanabe chumps, but you won't call a ford focus with fart can and ridiculous kit a ricer. Why? Because its not from japan. It is the car form of a racial slur. What you use it for and what it means are two entirely different things so YES a skyline is rice so is a supra. Very sexy very fast rice but rice nonetheless.
