Default getting a new a4

so i decided to sell / trade in my 2k1 2.8 a4 for a 99.5+ 1.8T, and the funny thing is, i cant find one within 200miles that i like. (either too many miles, tip, etc, etc) ive tried autotrader, cars.com and craigslist

any other ideas for finding a new audi?

Just wait it out...unless you want to pay for one to be shipped to you, and if you want to fly out and check it out first.

Ummm...don't mean to threadjack or nothing but how much are you selling that 03 for, because I'm in the same boat as fenderstrat.

why would you buy that? 15 grand for a car which has probably beat beating to hell and back? It's not like the mods they list are crazy expensive, maybe 3g brand new (tops) if you do the installation yourself.

you do have a good point there, i shoulda said that thats the type of mods i would want in a 1.8 if i had one, and therefore would be the exact car i would want

but then again i didn't say that to begin with[:@]

regardless of how perfect the mods are, the car will have been driven hard, you can damn near guarantee it. So if you're willing to take the risk in extra maintenance for what IMO is an overpriced car then by all means go for it

Another thing to keep in mind is why he's selling it. If he only had the mods done "professionally" 10k miles ago, why would he be selling so quickly?

Maybe I'm just not as trusting as you, but that raises a red flag for me.
