Alright well all of my familys cars are getting serviced and mine is second in line so it'll be like a week or 2 before i get mine. so i have 108k miles on my car, im pretty sure the belt was changed at 77k miles, i hear some squeeling coming from the front drivers side tire.... i think thats where it is. and also yesterday when i got gas i got major lag in first gear at about 4k rpms and same in 2nd at the same, and im NOT TURBOED, so i think maybe my feul filter is dirty?

so my question is what should i ask specific when i bring it in? or what should i look out for since i have 108k miles.

Where are you taking it for service?

Check for codes with a VAGcom

How certain are you that the timing belt was changed at 72K?

If not, you are on borrowed time.

 

im pretty positive, when i got the car from dealer the owner befor it gave them all the papers, and im pretty sure it said 77k i would have to check it again. i just want to make sure the place doesnt try to add some crap in, so does anyone know of parts going out at 100k+ miles?

and the place im taking it to is where the car has been serviced all the time.. i guess.. they put a sticker in my engine bay, so i guess thats where it was serviced. but the place only works on VW, Audi, BMW, and Mercades. so i think i should be fine with them knowing what there doing. i think it might go in, in the next week.

 

Could be something as simple as spark plugs.
