i have a friend w/ a GTI (VR6)- he pulled the resonators off the car and put an after market can on-
- if you ask me that is the most beautiful exhaust note i've ever heard- it just has that true sport sound (loud but HOT!)

I'm just wondering if any one has pulled the resonator(s) off of the 2.8 30v, if you have ever heard the VR6 wind out w/ the exhaust
worked on you'll know what I mean-

honestly just tryin' to get close to that sound-

mid-muffler delete. wont pass inspection but gives a good sound. talk to VB05. he's got that on a 2.8 plus custom w/ Remus I think. sounds good.

Here I searched for you. Its not the VR6 but sounds damn good. VB05 exhaust

 

Why wouldnt it pass inspection?? As long as the cat and 02 sensors are good and it has a muffler it should pass right? VBO5 uses a remus muffler minus the resonator and its deffinately the closest vr6 sounding setup ive heard.
