Default GIAC on stock exhaust

I was searching around but could not find a clear answer

Basically I am wondering will I be able to put in a GIAC chip on my 1999.5 a4 1.8T Q using the stock exhaust( I have no plan on upgrading exhaust at all) Just probably going to get some 710n DV and maybe a Carbonio Intake (but most likely not for how useless they are)

anyways will I be able to do this or not?

thanks

I'll be nice...

onepoint8tee has GIAC+710N+N75J+stock exhaust

He is so happy with the power he has.

So yes you can tehre is nothing to afraid of. GIAC will not give you extra 200awhp so stock exhaust is just fine.

I'll be nice again;

You already have your stock N75. N75 J is kind of sport version which give you little extra more psi which means more power

Not trying to steal your thread, but I want the GIAC and a cut-out. How should this be done?
And will it work together? The idea was to put a switch on the pedal so the cut-out opens between 75%-100% throttle. Just dont know if the chip will work with it.

it depends on what you mean (a timer or safety cut out which is already built in to the (ECU)) and called a rev limiter

sorry i was talking about an electric exhaust cut-out. It's just a y-pipe that open's a flap when you press the button.
