Ok, so I’ve been drewling over the new design of the A4 since the 05.5 and decided to get a new 06 when they came out.

I took delivery of my new A4 2.0T Quattro MTX with all of the options two months and 2000 miles ago. I abolutely love the way she handles, shes a great performing sedan.

The car’s been in one snow storm (I’m in the northeast), is washed regularly and garaged and my windshield and side windows have huge scratches in them.

I drove a new Civic through two Vermont winters, and I’m in Boston now and the glass on my new Audi is scratching extremely easily. Is this normal for Audi glass?

 

I have some scatches on the right side of my windshield. I'm sure this happened when I passed trucks at 75mph. They kick up gravel in bad weather. Glass is SiO2. Its hardness and resistance to scratching is same for all cars. Perhaps our windshields are more verticle.
