Ok, I have an 03 A4 Cabrio. for some reason the rear window leaks. well, my convertible top sometimes works sometimes doesn't. I figured that out, and mostly it works now. some wires were getting wet. but now I have this strange whine noise coming from the glove box. and I can't open the glove box at all. the noise changes as I pull on the handel to open it. but it never opens, its like its locked, but its not. anyone seen this before? How can I fix it???

 

You need a new glove box door and handle. Still under warranty? To remove it you take out all 12 10mm bolts, then pull the glove box out, pop out the pins for the door and take it out from the compartment. Then remove the set screw for the handle and pop it out and intall it into the new door.
