Default Going BT!!

Well, the money is saved and the decision is made. I am going to go BT in january when i am off of school. Now i question how to do it. The APR package itself is thurough, but expencive as hell. How could i piece together that setup and the just buy the tuneing from them?

you cant buy apr bt sw or parts. An atp hardware kit and then buy tuning is agood way to go. You get a real manifold and turbo. This way you get more power and faster spool than there elim setup and comes with everything but injectors and tuning.

It comes with manifold and a gt28rs and everything needed to bolt it on for $2400. Heres the link. You can even upgrade the turbo to a gt2871r or 3071r

Add $300 for injectors and $700-900 for tuning and your ready to go.

btw, you can find it at online stores for cheaper, kineticmotorsport being one of them.

although id like that, going without a cat is without of the question. at long as my parents are paying tuition, i need to keep it smog legal.

i also want to keep it at 300 hp or under. it can allways be tuned up, but without having the forged internals of he 00 adn earlier A4's and needing it to be reliable, i dont want to push it

your car can easily handle all the power agt28rs can make. Also your stock cat or an aftermarket cat can easily be welded in.

20psi and a good tune will take you just over 300hp and be very reliable.

Yes, you would be set. You dont want MIKA tuning, you want to either take your car/send your ecuto a Unitronic or REVO dealer and get it chipped.
