But if you were an unknowing Audi customer like the 80% and your brakes were gone, you just had the car at the dealer and they didnt tell you......then 2 days later

You get into an accident because you had no brakes you would most likley try to sue the pants off the place

Yes I know its very extreme but that is why every good tech will look over the car and bring it up to the customer

 

Oh and when you guys take it to the independant shop do they not try to sell you other things???

 

Hey! I did that! They were streaking and sqeaking and I guess I just wanted it done right!


Oh and they were free at the dealer!

 

When they quoted my brake job that they just decided to take a look at, it was going to cost 950 bucks to replace two rotors and put on new pads! LOL. I don't want to hear the crap about how hard they are to work on. They do it every day all day and that's what they are paid to do. They just take advantage of the people who chose not to go to mechanic school and don't know how to overhaul an engine. Why would my brakes not be squeaking but when I took the car in for a new cd changer, they would mysteriously start squeaking. Oh yeah, that was a VW. LOL

 

Everytime I took my car to an independant shop, I didn't get any BS... It was in, and out, no hastling or scamming at all. Maybe I got lucky.

ohh ok.. that makes since then.. i mean this happened almost a year ago.. and i have been wondering about it every since.. didnt think Audi Dealerships would throw free wipers to their customers but i guess they do.. thats pretty cool!

 

it was awesome. thats how i bought the belt kit. I will deffently give you a call. Im planning on all day sunday since the shop is closed that day. How was your christmas?
