Default A good buy?

ive been looking into a 2001 1.8t quattro that has 150000 on it. the dealer is looking for 9000 but after you factor in the hit on my car that im going to take and a full four year unlimited mile bumper to bumper warranty the price is closer to 15.5. any thoughts from anyone would be great.
BTW there are no problems with the car, one owner, super clean. i mean even the engine bay looks like it just rolled off the factory line and the dealer told me that they didnt even steam clean the bay yet. my real only problem with the car is the miles.

thanks for the thoughts

150k? You can do better. The DEALER doesn't care about used cars. If you want it get it but I would be worried about sludge adn the miles is quite a lot....

Umm first off 9000 sounds really really steep for so many miles. Also, even though your getting the warranty why would you want all the headaches? I mean pretty much any car (especially a 1.8t a4) will probably have some problems at 150k miles. Also, if your paying 15.5 with the warranty, why not look at cars for 15.5? I was looking at a 2001 1.8t for 14000 that had 50k miles and was also very clean. Just my 2 cents at the end of the day its your cash and you can spend it how you want :-D.

If your looking at cars at 15k then consider an S4 or 1.8T under 80k. $9000 way too much for that mileage.

Kelly Blue Book puts it around there but for that many miles you can do much better. How is the maintenece history? Engine bay can be spotless but hows the timing belt/ tensioner looking? Fluids being replaced... brakes. Mechanically sound?
