Good buy?
You really aren't getting a deal, but whether its worth buying depends on some more details.
The car in 'perfect condition' is probably worth around $12,500 or $13k KBB. Less with dings, scratches etc.
You need to do the timing belt at 80k-90k miles on that year. Figure a cost of ~$1k for that.
Problems with the radio need to be fixed.
On older models, tie rod ends and control arms tend to go around 80k - 100k miles, but I am not sure if they upgraded the OEM gear from the factory by 2001. None of it has probably been replaced, but may need it in the future. Thats a few hundred depending.
Make sure they ran full synthetic oil in it and check for engine sludge (open oil fill cap under hood and look under cap for sludgy crap) Sludge means he probably didn't run full synthetic and change it regularly and also means you prob don't want the car.
The rest is all maintenance. How well did he care for the car. Get the service records. He should have had that thing back to the dealer fairly regularly for the scheduled maintenance and warranty issues. A lot of that may show up on the Carfax as well.
I would try to get 10k, but 11k is good if the maintenance is right and you are happy with the car.
