he said he put a brand new turbo in and has the receipt for it and all. what do you think...he put another like 6 thousand miles on it i think though. he lives about 7 miles from me. he said he hasent had the timing belt done but it has the new turbo...let me know what you think thanks. i will probably offer like 13k for it.

well in most cases AWD>FWD.
I've had my fun with FWD cars. If you ever want it to be fast, FWD will have traction issues, 311 hp in a 2500 FWD car - I hooked up ok with slicks but still had some wheelspin. AWD may weigh a little more, but the extra 2 wheels turning is worth it.
I mean you can buy an FWD, they're fine for a daily driver, but if you've never experienced the "planted" feel of AWD, I would defenity say get awd.

Wierd, I spot a quattro badge on the front grill... but it definately says 2wd. I'm wondering if the 2wd thing was a typo... HMM. 14K seems high though to me as well... I paid less, and had lower mileage -- and mine is definately quattro.
