im looking at an 04 a4 37k miles...certified preowned for around 20k....with the 50k warranty extended.

any thoughts on what type of deal im getting here?

ive heard many things about this car. some overbearing comments about the car being high maintenance. the timing belt going out at around 90k. and so forth. i was told id be spending roughly 100 to 600 dollars a year for maintenance...depending on where i was at in mileage.

any thoughts on all of this?

 

youre gonna spend over 100 on buying synthetic oil and oil filters. if i were to drop 20k id get a 01 s4 for around 14k....but thats just me

 

definitely not to bad of a deal, I would try to drop it to 18-19ish. You'll love the six-speed though, if its manual that is. Is it a 1.8T?

 

yeah the trim is 1.8T...its an automatic...triptronic
