GOOD NEWS!!
Just thought I'd let everyone know the good news.
After a blown turbo/motor due to faulty timing belt installation/setup, a new beast is born:
Started with my bare 1.8 AMB block. bored 3 thou over, honed.
Added ECS tunings lightweight rod kit, 20mm wrist pins, and MAHLE 9cc oversized forged pistons.
Re-built the head, 3 angle valve job, ported and polished, bench flow tested, 10cc over stock.
K04-15 Borg/Warner Turbo, custom 3"test pipe, 440cc injectors running onREVO stage 2+ software.
FMIC hidden nicely behind the new S4 front skirt.
oh ya, and the RNS-E 'j' unit to complete the interior.
up to about 5 grand (cdn) now. not too bad

I want to see this hidden FMIC. I want a hidden FMIC. I want it. I want it now.
Would it be a bad idea, since i have a black car, to spray paint an FMIC (ebay version) black? (not trying to steal thread)
