BOOMER, ok you may not be in as HORRIBLE shape as you thought Insurance-wise. Question... do you live at home w/ your sister? If so, you were most likely named as an INSURED on the policy. (if you live in the same house and are licensed it is required) You may claim this on yourself, and your sister won't suffer from this directly.

And even if not... there is no need to say that your sis crashed. You can still tell them you crashed it. As long as she IS insured ANYONE who drives her car is covered (this is mandatory). I hope this clarifies any of your questions relating to getting your insurance straightened out. Also, who is your current insurance company? I'm hoping its a well-known one such as State Farm/ Allstate/ COUNTRY/ Farmers etc... cause this is where it pays to have a great company and they don't B*$*& about the claim.

By the way, this will stay on your record for 3 years. So drive like an ANGEL for the next 3 years, or you will REALLY feel the pain. Lemme know if I can help ya out with any thing else insurance related. I work with a large insurance company, and this is what I do.

Better do something, or his sister might make this site one member short. [sm=icon_beat.gif]

damn - he should not try do do this himself...

My guess is he has at least 2-3 grand in damage. He will have stress fractures in a whole bunch of connections, bushings and joints. All the coolant hoses on that side should be replaced. Of course the foglight and bumper are destroyed. The oil pan could be busted, or at least its connections. Radiator is bent, intercooler might be toast. Could have bent control arms or busted shocks, broken engine mounts, a warped hub, a trashed wheel bearing, bent wheel, the possibilities are endless. I would not try to do this unless he knows an Audi inside and out. Bring it to specialist.
