Read the FAQ and all that, i beilive i found a rare A4. I purchased this about a month ago, it looks like a normal B5 but the engine is a 2.5 5 speed not a 2.8. How long were the 2.5 V6 TDI's in production? I cant find much info on it. So mysterious...

what year is it? and are you sure its not a 2.8? as far as i know audi hasnt had a diesel in the states as a A4

 

nm it has to be a 2.8. then.

 

It's not over a 99 since it has the retard mirror on it.

how can you not know if its a 2.8 or tdi? what kind of fuel have you been filling up on?

 

you gotta be able to tell. a diesel would probably say 'diesel fuel only' on the fuel door and fuel cap -and a standard gas cap wouldn't fit it either i don't think.

 

yeah the diesel fuel wouldnt fit in an unleaded gas tank. you would need a funnel
