the car you raced is called a 22B...one of the rarest suby's ever made, and veryyy fast. i highly doubt that the model you raced was 160hp WHEN it WAS stock, the 22B is turboed and is basically the first steps of the upcoming STI. I would loveee to have a 22B...they are worth way more than peopl thin and are 280hp stock. Thats back when it was just "impreza 2.5"...i would show the upmost respect to one of those cars, verrry rare by all means....just how rare are they?...well lets just say that there are equal amount, if not more, rightside driven 22B's in america then leftside driven, most of the ones i've seen have been imported from Jap land

I won against a stock impreza 2.5. Had him by half a car length of the line and kept pulling on him after 3rd gear. Honestly I thought he would've won but he has no top end. Now it would be a different story with my cousin's WRX or an STI.

22B's were never available in the US. I very, very, very much doubt he was racing a 22B WRX. there are maybe a handful that have been imported to north america.
