Race the same guy again on a wet/slippery road and see what happens, hehe.

I remember I raced a 4th gen Prelude vtir. Absolutly destroyed him when we launched,
but he slowly started catching up, then overtaking me. He had a lot of stickers on his car
though... probably why he was quicker

 

there you go^ I should have known, it was the "STICKERS" I think ill take my car in to get that mod done too!! and you got that right about the slippery wet roads.

 

Get a Bosch 710N or 110 Sport DV.

My brother wants a new Civic. Not too appealing to me. He has a nice Honda CBRF4i and I have a Yamaha FZ6, considering an 06+ R6.
A 3.4L Boxster or 996/911 Turbo would be nice, but better bang for buck fun with an A4+K04 and a bike.

a civic with a b18 (integra motor) (now available at any ricers door) is quick man. plus, weigh yourself lately? yea........... lol 2300 lb's vs 3klbs

The loss of power may be the result of a broken DV.

 

Because A4s ARE NOT FAST... I guarantee you, it's not your clutch, your car wasn't malfunctioning, you got beat. Let it be a lesson, don't judge a car before you've raced it, especially Hondas.

Every single Honda I've ever owned would destroy my A4... Even when my '94 Civic EX was stock as Hell, it still ran 15.9. You've got to remember, you can easily get an H/B-Series Honda engine to 200whp using basic bolt ons... Hell, my friend Miles has a stock H22 in his '99 Civic, and he put down 190whp with just a Pro-Speed Header. So he's putting down more horsepower to the wheels, than most of our cars are putting out at the crank, and his car weighs just a shade over 2,000lbs. So to the casual observer, his car just looks like a '99 Civic with some wheels and a Carbon Fiber hood... But little do they know that he will destroy most anything he pulls up next to.

So just remember that... You never know what they're packing.

I know my car is not the fastest cars on the street but like I said, I know I dont have power like I used to, before I would pop the clutch and it will throw me back at every shift and now at start it doesnt throw me back anymore and it somewhat lags to 5000 rpms after second gear. Maybe it is my DV and also clutch slippin

 

A big difference if your is in fact going bad.. No difference if not. Youll just hold boost better and be more responsive.
The 710N is so cheap, why not replace it just in case?

 

my buddy has a civic si with intake ,exhaust and one day me and 2 friends were in my car on the highway and we somehow rolled up next to my buddy with the civic and did multiple pulls with eachother, i was amazed on how good my car pulled away from him, it was like he wasent even on it but he was.
