got the stage 3 a4 car
decided to edit the post, he called me back, i think the clutch is just glazzed over ill wait a few weeks, but with my size 14 shoe i think ill just get a new clutch that wont have this kind of problem... seems he got a little mad about the "defamatory" coments but i was a little pissed, I think I had a good reason to be, but in short the post just stated the clutch slipped in the 93 ocatain setting..
this never happened to me but i remember tom telling me something about how he glazed his clutch and it was slipping. then he drove it around for a bit and it started holding agian. and it hasnt failed him yet. i think thats what happened. try driving it around a bit more and see if it gets better
i thought the same thing im going to give it a few days b4 i call and get mad, but i have been driving stick since i was 16 almost 10 years i have never clazzed a clutch but i have also never owned a awd car with a **** load of power
Time for a FL gtg with torque wrenches in hand i think...
Sorry to hear about the problems... Obviously 40 miles of driving isnt going to kill a clutch even if you arent experienced. He never told you when he put in the spec2 or whatever its called clutch in?

Drive the car and baby it for a little bit and see if you can remove some of the transferred material off the flywheel.
Other then that, the posters statements look a bit defamatory.

i was pissed as anyone else would have been I think its in my right to be.. He called me back so I feel better, could have worded it a bit nicer but i was mad at the time alot of other things I was thinking didnt make it to the thread but he did call so that says alot. Read a bit about the spec stage 2 clutch looks like this is a common problem, Matt even stated on the phone the clutch was crapy and after he put it on thought the clutch sucked.. just would have been nice to know b4 hand.. no big deal gives me a reason to take apart the car needs a rear diff seal anyway
