GPS in B5...
So I was staring at my radio the other day, and the little hampster started gettin on his wheel. I'm thinking it would be relatively easy to put a GPS system in the B5. Remove the AC/Heat controls and relocate to where the ash tray and 12v outlet are (these would be history, well relocate the 12v somewhere maybe armrest). Then remove the stock head unit, and you would basically have the whole dash to work with. Just by looking, and bare with me this is a new idea I havent researched too much, but i think you'd be able to put an audi GPS system in there. Building brackets or a rack shouldnt be too hard. Then im guessing the hardst thing would be the piece arouund the head unit to make everything pretty! personally I have the wood grain, so im guessing I could get a large piece of that and cut or dremel it. So this is what I see it looking like... keep in mind I am doing this at work with the paint program and pics I found online so it looks crappy. I'll do a better version at home with Photoshop.

Let me know what you guys think, and if anyone has tried anything like this. the wiring shouldnt be too tough right? let me know!
