firestone sucks. the other day my brother was heading out to firestone and i asked him what for, he said his CEL just came on and he was taking it there to get it scanned, they were charging him $125 and they said it would take most of the day to do it. i said screw that and we then proceded to autozone, did it in 5minutes and it was free.

once my dad took his car to firestone to get new tires and to have his oil changed, got the car back no oil change and no new tires so we took it back to firestone and they claimed that they "must have overlooked his car, it was a buisy day." thats just unnacceptable, if i hadnt looked at my dads tires he would have never noticed anything. i hate firestone!!!!!!

 

well he said to replace the shafts or axles but they seem to be fine. it's the cv joints that are shot, not the damn axles. my warranty covers the cv joints so i may just get those replaced and hopefully that will do it.

 

Yeah firestone=ripoff. Check out ecartoys for the parts and then see if you can find someone who can put them in for you who is knowlegeable. Youll likely save hundereds of dollars that way.
