Great Handling
Last night was the first time I put the audi to the test......Had a very close call on the country back roads, but the A4 stuck to the road like glue. I felt how light I was on my tires and could here a slight whistle from the tires, but damn......I just couldn't believe she held the road on that turn. Anyone ever break these cars sideways on dry roads?? Seems damn near impossible...but after last night I think all calm down for a while. It was one of them things were your heart feels like its in your throat....lol
i never went sideways on dry road but ive pushed it just like you. i actually did it yesterday on a curvy road leaving my job.. my car hugged the road beutifully im impressed everytime.. i dont really push my car often but when i do its exhilarating i cant wait till it starts snowing..
The great Quattro setup is good for more than tossing it through the twisties, though!
Best, most favorite trick in my B7: Sitting at a traffic light (first in line) waiting to turn left with a looooong line of oncoming cars waiting on the other side of the intersection. Ordinarily you'd sit there, knowing that the guy opposite you coming straight through has an advantage. You could TRY and play chicken with him, but... often as not you'd wind up just sitting through the light, waiting for it to turn pink so that you can sneak your way through.
Not in my Audi. In that situation, I wait for the light to flash green, then I NAIL it. Power, AWD, traction control, stability control... I'm done with my left turn and looking at the intersection in the mirror before anybody knows what happens, and by the time I straighten the wheel the damn thing is already doing 40.
And even better, it works just as well in the rain.
Heheheheheh....

I got my A4 quattro sideways twice in less than 15 seconds, right before it rolled. Something messed up in the rear causing it to go horribly light and I almost had it under control but then I hit some gavel and it caught the tires and it rolled…. not much fun. Just bought the car and was looking forward to modifying it but not I gotta spend that money fixing it.
