Default GReddy Global Sport G2S Exhaust

I just got aGReddy Global Sport G2S exhaust system installed in my '03 A4 1.8t bySyizm, authorized GReddy Dealer,in Lake Forest, Ca. I had been sufferingfrom low end lag off the line (below 3k rpm), so much so that the car would shudder & stall at times. It was such a pain in the ***.
My buddy Marshall at GReddy suggested the exhaust upgrade and boy was he right! It smoothed it all out and the car is way more responsive. Sounding great to boot! It was not as loud as I thought it might be. I highly recommend this upgrade and this shop.

Low end lag off the line with a 1.8T. I'm a lil confused. These turbo hit peak boost at 1900RPM and get there damn quick. Sure an exhaust that is freer flowin always is better then stock, but you may have an underlying problem that was causing that lag that the new exhaust is masking, unless ur old one was leakin. Looks cool though, how much louder then stock and was it cat-back or mufflers?

It's a cat-back with testpipe.

My car was set up for Revo Stage II, yet never had the exhaust upgraded (only the testpipe installed). When it came time to smog the car for title transfer it failed, so the testpipe came off and cat went back on. It passed smog, but lost much performance. It was like the car was gagging.

Testpipe back on plus the GReddy system and my car breathes like a decathlete!!!

About the peak boost at 1900rmp. I am not too sure about that. The boost gauge will be in soon, so I will know for sure, but it just seems to be getting started in the 2k's then at about 3500+ is where is seems to peak out.

In reality, my turbo doesn't really peak until about 2800 or 2900 RPM...
