I already search....where can i purchase a greedspeed snub mount for my B6 3.0. I didn't see it on the greedspeed site. Thx in advance.

It turns out that the snub is the sam for both motors, nut i also heard that the 3.0 motor has more vibration....can any verify this?

 

From reading an earlier post on the APR snub mount install, that vibration you're talking about happened because the snubmount wasn't seated properly. Shaving the snubmount fixed his problem. I'll use APR's snubmount when I change it. Planning a DIY install??

 

I'm getting my timing belt done in few week, so I'll have the mechanic install it. I'm interested in the greedseed version b/c I've read in several posts that it's smaller and does not cause vibration.....I called greedspeed and the rep told my that the v6 motors are more shaky and that it will cause vibration.

 

keep me posted......I have a 2004 3.0 and wouldnt mind getting the snub mount.....

the extra vibration isn't caused by the V6, it's caused by the tiptronic transmission. i can't tell you why, but i know that almost everyone with a tip on this forum has had issues with snub mounts..some are resolved, some aren't. the V6s usually have less vibration than the 1.8Ts
