i went to autozone and go my checkengine checked it said

P0011
CAMSHAFT POSITION
ACTUATOR A - BANK 1
TIMING OVER-ADVAN.

the guy said its okay to drive home and that thats the reason my car has the oil light on, and it doesnt make the noise anymore fyi after i warmed the car up.

Are those codes an indicator that his timing belt jumped a tooth or two?

ahhh, that code says everything. well oil is not ur problem. it's ur camshaft position sensor. ur lucky ur car even starts. dont' go too fast on the highway and make a couple rest stops. also, look for a new sensor. do u use full synthetic oil? if u don't, i would seriously suggest u seafoam ur car and switch to full synthetic. the 1.8t are famous for engine sludge when they're running conventional oil.
