Default grrrrrrrr

i just got a call from my mechanic that im doing my timing belt with and i need more work.
i told them i would wait on the other stuff because i might be able to do the work my self.
so how hard is it to change:

1. the left and right outer tierod ends
2. right rear wheel seal
2. left front upper control arm
3. and the valve cover gaskets.

so i just looked in my haynes manuel and i should be able to do the tie rod ends and the valve cover gaskets my self. but the other stuff looks a bit too dificult. could anyone give me some write ups on these procedures, i would like to be able to refer to something else then the manuel.

For tie rods:

Can't find a tutorial for the valve cover gasket...there's one for the S4...maybe you can make one.
