My 96 2.8 does the same thing when I turn it off. It's never over heated, I've check all lines for leaks, I' ve changed the thermastat, and iy's still doing.

I have no Idea about this one.. I just began to think it's normal.

I've experienced that as well, but it turned out to be the A/C just getting rid of some excess moisture. It also produced some water under the car.
Only does it when there's been a hot and/or wet day though.. and not always.

But I guess you'd notice the water if it were.

 

Ive heard the noise from the matrix turned out the engine wasn't bled correctly ( heater was shut off so air lock in the matrix) but he says from under the hood

I do see some water from th e exhaust.. but I figure thats normal..

 

white smoke is normal for a short time excess white smoke with engine up to temp means head gasket

 

Turns out the noise is NOT from under the hood, but from the REAR of the vehicle... I would have sworn it was from under the hood from my small enclosed parking space but paying more attention it is from the rear.. So what do you guys think? Thanks

My car is same year, same model, same "problem".

It doesnt affect the car or the driving at all, just a sound. Sounds like its in the gas tank, maybe fuel pump?

Im not worried about it.

 

How old is your fuel filter?
