i was out today and i decided to open my sun roof. when i went to close it the thing moved about half way closed then went back to the open position. now it is stuck in the open position. i tried closing it manual with the crank it doesnt move. the motor still works i can hear it working. can you guys help me close it. thanks

 

Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner up in the switch.. And its good to see you have a diverter valve!

 

the switch works it seems like the sunroof is off the track

 

If the switch worked it should would close. It is common that the switch for the sunroof gets screwy on these cars and causes random openings or non movement. The glass is kind of locked onto the track and wouldnt come off. The only other thing i can think of is a bad motor or something is caught in the track.

 

no the motor is working, i think that their is something stuck in the track. how do you clean the tract

 

engage it and when its moving toward the close position grab it and pull alittle bit it worked for me a while back.

 

no it doesnt move at all. the motor starts to pull it but it wont go.
