Default H&R spring

i got a 97 A4 audi 2.8 front wheel drive only. i am thinking of getting the H&R springs, i want the best ride for my audi and as low as i can get with just getting the springs, is H&R a good brand for my audi. i know its a good brand cause i drove a golf with H&R springs and it road very good to me??????

H&R have 2 models of springs :
sport : 1.25"
race : 1.9"

I'm running the sport spring with stock shocks, the ride is little bumpy.
With the race springs you will definately need some sport shocks.

Eck you gotta look into shocks too man, can't run upgraded springs w/out upgraded shocks or before long, they're shot.

yeah I know, I'm thinking to get bilstein shocks + race spring very soon (1 month).

well which one u guys think i should go for sport or race, from H&R? i want it just before the tire goes underneath the tire well. What do u guys think about KYB, for struts? my boy got them and his car is slamed, and they haven't blown.
