is there a big difference in performance in a 2001 s4 with a 6 speed manual and the 5 speed automatic?

i think the bigger diff is thats the b5 s4 is SO upgradable. so similar to the a4 1.8 i heard is thats if you swap the turbos the automatic wont b able to sustain the power so momentum tunning told me.....correct me if im wrong. plus i mean having tip kills about a second of ur 0-60 time i think y would u wanna go tip. biggest mistake i ever made.

 

I love my tip...and Ill race anyone with manual and similar mods to show there isnt that big of a difference.

 

Who the heck would get an automatic S4! I mean when I see someone driving an automatic sports car I just get so mad. It's not a sports car anymore.......

 

Unless its the DSG transmission by Audi.

Audis tip's blow,thats really all there is to it. Add a tipchip and its different story. Compared to most other cars tip, these just suck. Manuals will always be faster.. i ran 13.9 in my bonestock s4(except for a exhuast), find a tip that will do that.
