Default headlight cleaner

The cover that is like a quarter bubble on the front bumper that pops up to rinse the headlights........One of mine has the paint chipped off almost completely. I don't know why its doing this, maybe been (badly) painted before, is this common??

Can that part just be popped off, or can you buy anOEM replacement from Audi with the factory color (silver, of course)

any suggestions?

Thanks-

yes it can be popped off, just stick your fingers under the cap and pull up on the whole pop up unit.. there are two litle pins that stick into holes on the cap.. just wiggle it around till it comes off

you can easily paint yours yourself.. there is a certain brand of silver spray paint that matches perfectly.. serch of painted lowers and im sure you will find it

Great, thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about painting it myself from having read the painted lowers posts, but just didn't want to break the damn thing in the process-
