Does anybody here turn on their headlights during the day? My A4 doesn't have daytime running lights, but I like the idea for safety reasons. What's the difference between daytime running lights and just turning on your headlights? On my bike, it's impossible to ride without the lights on. Reason being, cars have trouble seeing bikes and the headlight helps make you more visible. The same is true for cars to some degree. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use my headlights all the time. I did this in my RSX. Both lights burned out with only 35,000 miles. I'm guessing because I had them on all the time. Then again, replacing headlights more frequently is a lot cheaper than getting in an accident because some blind person pulls out in front of you.

 

Where I live, it's often cloudy or overcast. In those conditions, yes, I turn my lights on. Otherwise, they stay off during the day.

Running lights all day until I can't see anything or someone give me the headlight flash, then I throw them on. I duno I'm just not a big fan of headlights in the day, but I dont drive anywhere without my running lights on.

I've found that I actually get pulled out in front of more offten when I'm crusing with them on. Don't ask me, I'm surrounded by fecking idiots. I mean, bright red car, blazing hid's What the **** are you looking at that you didn't see that coming.

 

I have mine on all the time..people definately see you better and won't pull out in front of you

 

I always run them..I think it looks better..gets you noticed more..and safer!
