Headlight Issue (already replaced the headlight switch) NEED HELP ASAP
 

Hello everyone,

I have been around on this site but haven't really made myself known. I own a 1998.5 Audi A4 1.8t. The issue I am having is with my headlights. To start I already tried the diy headlight switch fix, which did not work. I then replaced the switch which still did not remedy my problem. So I have been told it may be a relay causing all of this.I need help asap. If it helps my corner lights still work along with my high beams. Foglights/ low-beamsdo not work along with headlight washers. All interior lights come on indicating a proper working headlight but with no actual result. Thank you for any help and your time.

Jiggle the ignition switch (key)while trying to operate the headlights, the is a recall for the electrical part of the ignition switch cracking which causes an open circuit to the headlight/wiper system.

Thanks, I tried that as much as I could and it still did not work. Any other ideas anyone?

Check the voltage on both sides of the relay. Don't ask me where the relay is.

somewhere aroung fuse box... atleast on older cars....
