My 2003 A-4 1.8 has the driver low beam headlight out just past the warranty period. Any hints on how difficult it is to replace or how to do it? The manual says it is a dealer replace item, but that's what they all say.

Does the error screen on your display read "Left Dipped Headlight"?

If so, it's NOT the bulb, it's something in the electrical, either Balast Motor, or wiring fault. Mine '02 is going into German Speed Merchants (Local German performance shop) to get diagnosed on Tuesday, because I'm sick of trying to figure out what it is. I'll keep you posted.
