Default Headlight washers

OK this may be a stupid question but do all audis come with this headlight washer system? I have a 2002 A4 and i can see where they are suppose to be, but they do not work?.. not that it really matters cause im sure it doesnt do much but it just really annoys me!

thanks in advance

It's an option. I had them on my earlier 96 A4 and they actually did more bad then good. They would get your hood REALLY dirty REALLY fast. And also they went through washer fluid like no other. My new A4 does NOT have them and I like it better.

If you do have the washers they only operate when the headlights are on. If you spray windsheild fluid while the lights are off they dont work.

Do you not have it or does it not work? I know mine had small rubber seals covering the hole in the sprayer, I had to take them off to get them to spray.

I think it is pretty cool and unique feature that Audi's posses but it def. has it's bad points.

The dirty hood is one because it sprays everywhere. But the passenger side one on my car gets stuck as it tries to go back down and doesn't go back in until I help it. It ends up looking really tacky with it sticking all the way up while I am driving. And it probably is a hazard because it blocks the headlight. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?
