Headlight washers for IC Cooling?
Has anyone ever retrofitted the headlight washers for use on the intercooler? Just spraying a shot of liquid at the intercooler whenver oh say 15psi is reached? or maybe full throttle?
I know its a cheap idea.. But im just curious..
Snow performance water injection is something I have on another turbo car of mine, but im just curious on your guys' idea's..
Just throwing an idea out..

Here is a good read if you want to build an IC spray kit.

I've done it by hooking up another reservoir only when I was track racing. On a day to day basis I don't think the intercooler gets hot enough unless you are running some big turbos. I still do not know how much airflows the audis have, but on all my mitsubishi's it was not needed until I got a much larger turbo and was making continual drag runs. Heck, even on my Evo it's supposed to have a manual and automatic mode. With a lot of harder driving in the summer I can't get the automatic one to go off, guess it never gets hot enough.
