Thanks, i dont know wat i should do.. i don want to spend all that money but i really dont want to mes around with the headlight by taking out the amber reflecter, when u take out the amber reflecter isnt there a permanent hole where it was so wouldnt moisture, dirt n etc. build up in there?

Ooh ok, kind of skimmed throught it.. is it visable with the silicon.. What would u do, get a whole new headlight, take out the reflecter, or jus leave it... i really dont want to spend 500 jus because i dont want that amber reflecter although they are hott lookin headlights, im kind of hesitant to take the reflectors out because i do not want to mess with it.....hav another question, If when u got your car n u got Xenon headlights would u still have those reflectors in there

No you can't see the silicone as far as I know. Seeing how I have Ecode headlights i'm a big fan of them. the light output is awesome. But B5 ecodes are a lot less than the B6, so it's a tough call. Removing the amber insert won't be that hard, take a chance, live a little!

All US cars have the amber reflectors regardles of the xenon or halogen headlight.

i got mine from a salvage yard in Germany... I contacted the guy over the internet and he flew them here... I also had him install AMG HID's on them... But those S4 housings are sic.. I would definatly get those if you have a darker car, otherwise on the silver the non blacked out ones look good.

i wasn't about to fork over the kind of money that the Ecodes cost... when i could get the OEM stuff at almost half the cost w/the shipping and HID's
