Default headlights xenon compatiable.

i have a 1999.5 quattro and its headlights have that round ball thing inside. i have heard that usauly means the bulb is xenon. for a fact i know that my bulb is not xenon because it doesnt take anytime to focus. and i just put aftermaket halegeon lights and they are better. though im wonfering if my headlights do support xenon bulbs?

any headlight can support HID headlights

but you won't get the "best" results

those older like 98-00 type acura TL's
use HID with a non-projector type headlight

also the hybrid cars are starting to have them too
all non-projectors

You should get the bulbs, ballast/converter, and all the necessary wiring. The stock lights don't have the HID power output, thats why you need a conversion kit.
