Default Heat shield

I made this heat shield a while ago, i used some sheet metal and traced out a template on a piece of cardboard. What you guys think, I painted it flat black and i still need to attach it to the evo ms heat shield and put some type of rubber edge on it so it won't rattle.

it seems it would perhaps trap more heat rather than keep it away, imo.
