Default Heater problem

My heater only works when I am crusing down the road at about 3500 rpms or higher. Both the heat core hoses are very hot. The heater will occasionaly work for about 30 seconds and then go back to cold air. Can someone please help me!

Sounds like the air diverter flaps are not being activated. Find someone with a VAGcom and check for codes in the HVAC system.

I have a vag-com but when I try to connect to the HVAC controls it has too many communication errors and cancels.

I finally pulled the codes, and the only one I got was a sporadic blower motor voltage. Wierd. But I also attempted to bleed the system and there is tons of air in it. It seems like it just keeps coming. I might have a shop do it with their special tools. Is there another good spot to bleed it other then the heater core hose way?

That is the only bleed point
