I am in the market of an A4 and was planning on picking up a 2000-2001 A4 and just wanted to know what kind of problems I might be looking at. Any advice or any links to older posts that might explain it all? Sorry if this is a repost.

this is the definitely the best place to get the info your looking for, but you gotta put a little effort into your questions. be specific and do some searches first. also search the audiworld forums, they're alot harder to navigate though.

 

See I have an Acura TL and I am usually on the Acurazine.com site and its a bit more organized into sub categories like pics,tech and etc. Not downing this site cause its nice and all but this was a bit more harder to navigate. What I was thinking of is trading in my 99 tl and getting a 2001 1.8t Quattro but I wasn't sure which one was better? I know this site is biased but truthfully would you go for a 2001 tl or a 2001 A4.

 

depends on what you want. I'm sure the acura is nice, but you can't beat german luxury. Also if you want to mod your car, go with the 1.8t. If you have a tight budget and don't wanna spend a lot for maintenance, go with the tl. Although I'm not familiar with acura, i know my honda was ALOT cheaper to maintain.\

 

Please drive both cars. Pick the one you like.
