My Chilton manual covers both 2.8 and 1.8t engines.

Hmm, thats funny, I have a B5 A4 HAYNES manual in my garage. I bought it at an auto parts store.
Geez, where do you guys come up with this stuff?

There is no Haynes manual for the B5 A4 (afaik)

However, there is something better ... http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/m...gory_Code=Audi

Happy ordering.
I stand corrected - 96023 - Passat '98 thru '01, & Audi A4 '96 thru '01, covers 1.8L 4-cylinder turbo and 2.8L V6 engines

My bad...

I had previously only done a quick inquiry at one of my local parts stores and did a quick search on Haynes' site and didn't find it at the time.

Also, AFAIK = As Far As I Know ...

lol, yeah thats the manual I have.

Hey, not knockin ya, just wanted people to know they do have one. I've been using the haynes for a while on a number different vehicles, they are not bad for the cost, like $15. Its saved my asz a few times.

hey no worries - i'm actually glad you pointed that out and forced me to do a proper search... Haynes has saved my *** more times than I can count on my previous vehicles as well.
