help!!!!
I brought my 2.0T in the dealer for a minor problem, but when I left the dealer they called me and told me that they can't start the car. The car starts, but quickly shuts off. I told them that this has never happened to me before and I was thinking that they were trying to pull a fast one on me. When I picked up the car a few days later they told me that they can't find the problem and the car runs fine. Today, a wk later, I tried to start the car and the same happened to me. If the dealer can't find the problem, I thought some of u guys might be able to. When I crank to start the car it sounded funny, it sounded like it does not have enough power, but it start. After the car start for about 2 sec. it would shut off. At first I though it needs gas, but the does not respond when I press on the pedal. I appreciate all feed backs.
that was happening to me .. my mecanic told me that can be anything .. mine was my sensor i forgot which one and my catalic converter ((i dnt know how ot spell it)) was bad and one of my hoses in the motor was ripped or out of place .. he said that was more because of my cathalic converter and my sensor i guess ..... check for codes ... after that never happened again
This is a shot in the dark but when you turn the key to the on position do you hear the fuel pump?
I guess i should ask this first - is it turning over when you try to start it? Maybe a ignition switch going bad.
