As some of you know my timing belt slipped a coupple of weeks ago and im doing the timing belt among other things. Can anyone please explain to me why my diverter valve is gushing gasoline after i have disconnected it? I have no fing clue what the hell is wrong with it.

 

are you sure what you disconnected is the dv?

 

Yeah it is running straight from the turbo hose. I have the whole bumper off and everything and i know that it is the dv but i am absolutely stumped as to how gasoline gets into the air system.

could the slipping of the timing belt when it was running could have been what caused gas to get in there. Im thinking that somehow it might havve made it trhough the exhaust manifold to the turbo but again im stumped.

so total there was like a half gallon of gas that came out of the smic piping all the way to the turbo.
