Default HELP!!!!! Both O2 CODES=MAJOR ISSUES!!

1997 a4 2.8 12v 5-speed

Fault codes P0130 Bank 1 sensor 1 and P0150 Bank 2 Sensor 1

CAR RUNNING HORRIBLY!!!! Hard to start (2-3 tries), must put foot almost to floor on gas, then Idles SMOOTH, BUT EXTREMELY slow to accelerate, noisy, a bit choppy at top speed of 60-65, with VERY POOR engine power (obviously).

Tried everything from (used) MAF, throttle controle module, fuel pump and filter, a borrowed cpu, NOTHING works and my mechanic is at a loss.

The only thing we did not change is both of the o2 sensors (even though that's the code) because we think they both shouldn't go bad simultaneously which makes us think VAC leak which we can not find one or MAF which is triggering the faults. AND we did not think they (bad o2's) would make the car run THAT badly. It should be noted that there are straight pipes on the car. But because these are the 1st O2's (before the CATS) we are thinking the pipes do not play a part here. LOOKING for any and ALL suggestions---maybe we missed something.

Another thing is, after refueling the other day, the car ran WELL with POWER through all gears for a few minutes unitl stopped at a light when it stalled. When restarted the car was back to this state. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! Made us think fuel pump BUT to no avail......

Default Not O2

It's not your O2 sensors causing that, I can guarantee. I had both of mine chewed off by a woodchuck....don't even get me started. My car still drove fine with both O2 sensors inactive. You have bigger issues if you need to have the pedal to the floor to get it to even start. Have you checked your fuel injectors?

For the slow acceleration, I had an issue with the transmission module under the carpet on the passenger side. If it goes bad you'll have hardly any power at all. It was an issue I've had and have since fixed by buying a new one.
