i went to autozone and they scanned for fault codes after my CEL light came on last night. I have a 2003 A4 1.8T FWD Tip. They gave me the fault code 299, and that it has to do something with the Turbo. I hope I didn't break the turbo. I just got my girl chipped last week and I got a new DV put in the same day so I don't believe the DV is the the problem. So can anyone guide me on what the 299 code is?

 

Thats not a fault code, it could be P0299? You may have to check it again because 299 tells me nothing.

 

P0299 is a turbo underboost code.
