About 4 months ago my remotes stopped working, I replaced the batteries and tried to synchronize the remotes using the 100+ threats online of which none worked.

I recently took my car to the Audi Dealer who was unable to synch and needed further time to diagnose the problem at $112/h, i decided to try to solve it myself.

After further research online I understood that it may be due to the central locking pump. I located the pump where there was water that got in some how. I drained the water and took out the pump and placed it back in. Currently I am able to lock the doors using the key and the interrior lock button. How should I try to fix the remote? any suggestions? new pump?
