Looking at a 2001 2.8 Quattro, sport package, automatic, black on black (leather), bose system, sunroof, etc. It's loaded. All for $13,000! Here's the catch: it has 95,000 miles on it!!! Do I go for it or what? It runs really great and is clean as hell. Help.

 

Just bought same car (5spd) w/ approx same miles last month.
So far so good.

I was fortunate enough to know the original owners dealer. Called and checked service history, everything done on the money.

Only issue so far is a slight noise from front end over bumps, see my previous post.

If you don't have access to service records plan on doing a timing belt.

As a general rule if the body and interior are in real good shape, the previous owner probably kept up on the maintenance.
