Default Help finding how much vac lines I need?

Ok I have used the sreach and can't seem to find the right answer. I am getting Vav lines and swaping them in for a Xmas gift. I have done on V6's but never the 1.8T. I have found a few great write-up's on this but can't seem to find out what I need? I used 3.5mm High Temp silicone lines for mine and anothers V6, is it the same size as the 1.8T? Also I didn't use that much for the change...maybe 4 feet...will I need more or less? If more how many feet?? I know you answer this crap all the time but I just could find it[:@]
TIA

It's going to be more like 6 feet. About 2 feet more if it's 00 or newer. I don't know what the size is though.

To get under the intake manifold, disconnect the intake hose from the throttle body and move the coolant resevoir out of the way by taking out the 3 phillips screws holding in place. For extra room under the resevoir, disconnect the sensor on the underside.

edit- there's 3 screws holding the resevoir in place. I don't know why I put 2.

Just about 90% of the members here own 1.8T's and yet none of you know the size vac. lines are? Go luck on TB, tubro installs, brakes[]

Thank you BaconBait for the info I will get 12 feet just incase.

The L shaped vacuum hose, between the G-12 reservoir
and the intake manifold, has different diameters at the ends.
Buy it from a dealer.
